From tired to treasured.
A RESTUFFED STORY
This much-loved armchair arrived at the workshop looking decidedly tired around the edges, but underneath the worn upholstery was a beautiful chair with plenty of life left in it.
Carefully stripped back, repaired where needed and rebuilt before being reupholstered in a wonderfully tactile new fabric, its original character has been preserved while giving it an entirely new lease of life.

THE FINISHING DETAILS
The old upholstery was carefully removed to reveal what was underneath and assess the chair before rebuilding began. Stripping a piece back like this allows us to see what has survived well, what needs attention and what can be preserved.
Carefully stripped back, repaired where needed and rebuilt before being reupholstered in a beautifully textured bouclé fabric, its original character has been preserved while giving it a fresh, contemporary feel — and an entirely new lease of life.
The finishing touches make all the difference. Traditional studding follows the beautiful curves of the chair, complementing the textured bouclé and adding definition while staying true to the character of the original piece.
